My name is Motasem and I am an adventurer, traveler, and storyteller. Growing up under occupation in Nablus, Palestine, I developed a passion for exploring new cultures despite the limitations forced upon me. After earning a degree in mechanical engineering and building a successful career in marketing, I was imprisoned for two months,
The imprisonment I experienced was a consequence of openly expressing my thoughts about Palestine on social media. This challenging period catalyzed a pivotal shift in my perspective, prompting me to wholeheartedly devote myself to my passion for travel and to break down the walls surrounding me, those constructed by both the occupation and societal expectations.
Despite facing physical and racist barriers, I was able to make it beyond the wall and gain newfound freedom to travel incognito as a foreigner in my own land. My travels quickly gained recognition as a social media influencer, and I was able to share my stories and insights about freedom and adventure with the world. This led to the creation of Ghamer+, an adventure company focused on creating intimate connections between travelers and the cultures they visit, and Barra El Box, a Youtube series showcasing diversity and culture in Tanzania.
I am on a mission to inspire others to follow their passions, step out of their comfort zones, and explore the world with a sense of adventure. Through my tours and travels, I aim to bring people together, to connect them with new cultures, and to provide them with unforgettable experiences that will stay with them for a lifetime.

Our design is built upon pillars of sustainability and ethics in regards to how we travel, emphasizing minimizing our environmental footprint, supporting local communities, and guiding travelers to interact ethically and responsibly with the communities and environments they visit.
